My apple music artist profile was approved fairly quickly, but that was over the summer. If music isn’t open at the time of purchase, the item is downloaded automatically the next time you open music, or when you choose account > check for available downloads. Apple music for artists has been in beta since last year now.
I’m super excited to announce that starting today, all distrokid artists can add an artist photo to apple music and itunes.
I submitted it a month before and it was on spotify, amazon, google, etc on the date i requested. With distrokid, you can instantly upload a new photo (usually takes around 24 hours for your new photo to propagate through apple’s system once it’s been updated. If we are not be able to verify your identity or relationship to the artist with the information you provide, you will receive an email notification asking for more information to approve your artist claim.
